Religious Education & Formation
Classes For:

Children in Grades K - 8:

  • Monday's  7:00 - 8:30 P.M. (Gr. 6 - 8)
  • Tuesday's 6:15 - 7:30 P.M. (Gr. K - 5)

Families who have children attending public schools in these grade levels are asked to register for these sessions, September through May.

The curriculum used complies with our Diocesan guidelines and is designed to foster spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of our Catholic teachings trough the use of scripture.

Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation is also offered to students at appropriate times during their formation years.

Little People's Ministry (ages 2 - 4 during the 9:30 A.M. Mass):

It is an age appropriate worship experience for Children between the ages of 2 - 4.

Parents wishing to have their children participate are requested to register their children before the start of Mass and then sit in a designated area within the assembly in case of an emergency.

The children  participating are led back into the assembly at the conclusion of the Communion procession for a special blessing and then will rejoin their parents.

Children's Liturgy of the Word (ages 5 & up during the 9:30 A.M. Mass):

This is for children ages 5 and up and is intended to provide them with an opportunity to hear, reflect on, and respond to God's word in an age appropriate manner.  It is held during the Sunday 9:30 A.M. Mass.

Children wishing to participate are invited to come forward after the Opening Prayer and are  then dismissed to a separate section of our building designed for this purpose.

While there, a trained team of Ministers of the Word for children proclaim the scriptures from the Children's Lectionary and help the children understand the meaning of God's Word for their lives.

They also pray together the Apostle's Creed and offer prayers of petition before rejoining the assembly just prior to the Preparation of the Gifts.
