Brian J. Kelly, Ed.D. (Marriage is the promise to overcome the problems of life with God's Grace )  Brian J. Kelly, Ed.D. received his doctorate in counseling psychology in 1972. Subsequently, he studied Family Systems Theory under Murray Bowen, M.D., at Georgetown University. He has taught at several universities, served as a psychologist in a maximum security hospital and a student health center. In 1992, Dr. Kelly was ordained a permanent deacon. He currently serves as a deacon at St. Luke Parish in Westport, Connecticut, and he is in private practice in Fairfield, Connecticut. He is the father of three adult children.

Catholic Engaged Encounter - Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) provides quality marriage preparation primarily for couples who are planning to marry in the Catholic Church. However, couples who are not Catholic are also welcome to attend one of our weekends. Marriage Retorno - National & Tucson - Marriage Retorno means turning toward God as a couple. The goal of Marriage Retorno is to provide an atmosphere, a context, in which the couple can open themselves both as individuals and as a couple to a dialogue with God through Scripture. It is a weekend prayer experience for husband and wife, facilitated by a married couple and a Catholic Priest. It is geared to provide the participating couples with an opportunity for renewal of their relationship as a couple with God.

Retrouvaille is the name of a program designed to help heal and renew marriages.  The word Retrouvaille, simply means 'rediscovery'. The program offers the chance to rediscover yourself, your spouse, and a loving relationship in your marriage.

THE PROGRAM IS FOR MARRIED COUPLES WHO ARE:

  • Anxious about their marriage relationship.

  • Alone or distant from their partner.

  • Disillusioned or bored in their marriage.

  • Without the time or desire to communicate.

  • Experiencing coldness or conflict.

  • Frustrated, hurt or angry with their partner.

  • Unable to see how to change their situation.
