The original is a
laser crafted etching produced by The Tennessee Mint and was created by
Joe Castillo, an artist born in Mexico, were he was surrounded by the
Cosmopolitan Art Community of the world's largest city. Joe
learned to draw from his two artistic parents. His skills
continued to develop through Ringling School of Art and twelve years as
a freelance commercial artist. The skills developed over the years
combined with a profound faith in Jesus Christ provide him with material
for many of his best works
In this etching of the
Face of Christ, look closely and you will also see:

stable with an ox looking on and a star overhead pointing the way.
